Product Description
Oak wood and its extracted forms have a long history of being used to enhance the flavor as well as age beverages. The product is used to mature wines, alcoholic beverages, and other liquors. Finely parted oak is extracted with alcohol solutions to produce the extract, which can decrease maturation time and increase quality. There is also interest in developing superior blending agents for non-alcoholic beverages as well as flavoring agents for vinegar, sauces, and similar products.
